We are already half way through 2018. If someone had told me this time last year I would be abstaining from my daily, and very much enjoyed, glass of bubbles, my oh-too-many black coffees, and a ridiculous diet of nothingness.....
I would not have believed I had the inner strength to change. We all have inner conversations with ourselves that most never hear. Although we know, there is always someone in a tougher situation than ourselves, these niggles play on our mind and too often serve as a destructive force.
Yes, my pregnancy is my reason for change, a change that previously I had been unable to make despite years of counselling and soul-searching. Then I just had to, and it wasn't anywhere near as hard as I had imagined. Gone are my daily coffees and glass to relax, I could never dream of being without. Gone are my years of controlled eating, a crux I couldn't imagine not being part of my life.
We can all challenge what our inner selves believe we can't change. We are all stronger than we realise. We all deserve to be the best we can be.
